Apart from next week's winning EuroMillions numbers, a surprising number of people are not particularly keen on knowing the future. The insurance industry has been a bit like this, traditionally having a somewhat cynical view of future predictions but in recent years this has changed. Increased availability of data, new market segments and new technology have significantly impacted personal and commercial lines. Join us on Thursday 14th November to discuss "What the future of Insurance might look like".
Cyber cover is one of the most hotly debated lines of business and despite having been written in various forms for many years now, it remains a significant challenge for insurers, reinsurers and brokers. The London market has had some success in addressing these challenges and we are keen to learn more about how this very complex risk is assessed and handled by our colleagues in London.
What new products and solutions is the industry embracing? Which partnerships are likely to be successful and why? This is certainly a hot topic and no doubt our panel and the community will have some quite different points of view. The theme for this meet-up is "InsurTech: Adoption Vs. Hype", and as always, we have a great line-up.
We are very pleased to announce the speakers for our first meet-up of 2019. The theme is "Making Data Analytics work for Insurance" and we have three very knowledgeable speakers who will enlighten you on the risks, benefits and practical "how-to's" of having a data analytics function in your organisation.
The theme for this event is RegTech in Insurance and we have two great speakers lined up already. We are excited to announce that John Byrne, Founder and CEO of Corlytics and Kieron O’Brien, Director of Know Your Customer Ireland will be sharing their insights and helping us to understand the world of RegTech as it applies to insurance.
Our objective is simply to share knowledge and ideas around insurance related technology and to network with other like-minded people. We will have four speakers, followed by a panel Q&A session and plenty of time afterwards to network with other attendees.
